Here is one of our recent projects that includes two phases: project preparation + development waves.
In this case we developed a custom CRM to helpa team manage its activity and centralize its information. One part of the development was "typical" (management of contacts andcompanies, prospecting, activity management) and the other required a custom approach (of laboratories and research projects, implementation of tags). This CRM was interfaced with Outlook for the management of activities (Emails, Appointments, tasks). Dashboards were developed and the whole team was trained. A one year support was put in place.
An ideation workshop was organized to define the scope of the project. The users were able to list all their needs. We prioritized each of their requests from a business point of view and we estimated their technical complexity. This analysis allowed us to define the roadmap.
We met with all the future users of the CRM. We studied the company's operations to understand its context and its challenges. Finally, we built the basic platform on which the project would be built.
All users were equipped with Microsoft Dynamics for Sales and Marketing licenses.
The first development cycle lasted 3 weeks. We conducted several workshops to express the needs. The main functionalities were developed. After only 3 weeks, the CRM was in production!
Users were able to test the CRM in real conditions. This helped us to quickly identify aspects of the CRM that had no added value and to redirect our efforts towards the most important functionalities. The dashboards were implemented and the CRM was interfaced with Outlook.
The teams were trained on the tool. We provided support with their first marketing campaigns and on data import. We continued to incrementally improve the CRM after the first two development cycles.
